Water Augmentation Project

VISION

The Mangaung Gariep Water Augmentation Project (MGWAP) will secure long-term water supply to Mangaung Metro and the associated towns for the sustainability of its people and dependent economies.

MISSION

To design and construct a bulk water system from Gariep Dam to Bloemfontein in an economically viable, environmentally conscious and socially sustainable manner that will diversify the Mangaung Metro’s access to water resources, optimise its cost of water, and establish improved efficiencies.
